This is a year of coming forth into what I have for you. Destinies are going to start to be fulfilled this year and it will be a year of great expectation in the body of Christ. In the past you have not expected much from Me but this year there will be a turning toward Me. Your circumstances will propel you into your destiny. Call on Me with your whole heart and I will answer you! Now it is time to press into Me and do not stop! Do not be deterred but allow those things that formerly hindered you to instead move you forward. Use them as stepping stones to your destiny. I am moving in your life and that which seems like a road block will be removed and you will come to a new level. Believe My Word and fill yourself with it in this new season. Feed on it for your life in the Spirit depends on it for food. Without this sustenance you will not be able to go forward for you must continue to rightly divide the Word of truth. My Word is life. My Word is Jesus. I am the only one that can satisfy the longing of your soul. Those times that you were thirsty beloved you needed to come running to me to drink. Now is the time to run into My arms and trust that which I am doing in your life.

The Spirit of the Lord says:

There are many voices crying out for your attention, they know that the one you listen to will begin to chart the course of your life. The power of your thoughts become your imaginings of the heart and then your imaginations become strongholds. You determine whether they are for your good or not.

  The Lord gave me a dream in which I saw a little child playing. Suddenly, I heard this child’s father speak loudly from another room saying, “Come on; it is time to leave.” I then heard other members of this family leaving from other rooms in the house as they all began to depart from the house. But this child began to try and gather up some toys, articles of clothing, a doll, another pair of shoes, and a couple of games to take with her. It did not take her long before she realized that she could not possibly carry all that she had gathered up; so, thinking quickly, she grabbed a long piece of cord and began to tie each article of possible to the cord, about 1½ to 2 feet apart from each other.

 As soon as she left her room and walked down the hallway, her possessions immediately got snagged on the corner of her bedroom door. She then freed that, but when she turned the corner that led from the hallway to the foyer, they snagged again on the corner. She freed that, and then began to run out of the front door, and this time her possessions got snagged on an outside railing. Again she returned to free that snag, and when she had done so, she took off running. But when she rounded a car that was parked at the head of her driveway, the cord really got tightly snagged under the front tire. She tugged and tugged from a few different directions before she was able to free her cord of possessions. Then when she turned around, she found that her father had left without her.

Many of you are finding yourselves continually hit by the spirit of control. Many of you are facing this oppressive spirit at what seems like every turn.

The agenda of this spirit is to bring about death to your life, your hopes, your dreams and your desires that I have placed within you. This very spirit is manifesting in many of your lives as a spirit of oppression, death and discouragement.

This spirit has come into many of your lives and has placed the placard upon your backs with the words “You cannot do it”, “You are a failure”, “Don’t dare to dream as the impossible is not really possible”. Many of you have found yourselves robbed of blessing, joy and true identity that I have given to you in My death and resurrection.
