A vision, interpretation, teaching

I had a vision in church last Sunday morning. I saw a lady with a bottle of choice fragrant perfume in her hand in a very ornate glass bottle. The bottle fit into her palm perfectly, as if made specifically for her. She grasped it with all her might and pressed hard and squeezed it with all her strength until the bottle burst in her hands.

This bursting forth, caused the glass to make wounds in her hands. As she bled, the fragrance and blood mixed together. At the same time these two came together, the anointed fragrance filled the wounds and permeated the air with another fragrance much more lovely than before the mixture took place.

This lady represents the believers, the church. The church has a bottle in hand, and each member, has a specific bottle of their own, placed there. It is up to each to secure their own position in the Spirit as they press into this most holy place.

A genuine breaking is coming forth now designed by the Lord, that perhaps may be a painfully hard process, yet a necessary one. The end is a fragrance so pure it will bring life to all that come near.

The fragrant bottle is put in a specific hand by God’s choosing. When it is there, it is up to the one in possession of the bottle, to press through the process, until there is a breaking forth. The process is somewhat painful to the heart, because in the pressing, we know that the first shall give way to the last. The familiar will be left behind for the more excellent way. All that had previously been held so dear in the heart beforehand, which was seemingly so important, has been surrendered and spilled forth as an offering to the Lord now. It is a sweet smelling sacrifice.

Breaking is only to bring forth something more pure and holy. Consider the crushing of the olive that seems so complete in itself, yet when crushed in the olive press, it brings forth pure oil. This process is the same. As there is a transformation from an olive to oil, there is also a transformation from a self-made life, to a life transformed by the Lord into a more perfect way.

With every breaking there is a wounding of heart, yet the wounds are meant to be healed by the Master’s touch every time. He is enough to make us whole again. In His presence, He embraces us and caresses us, until we are renewed in newness, in Him. We find His grace is all sufficient to raise us from the floor and turn our mourning into dancing.

We now see with clarity that in Him we have our being and fully live. What rejoicing this brings! We know with out a doubt, His way is perfect, and apart from Him and His way, we can do nothing and are nothing. It’s in this breaking we painfully view the truth about our own self, yet find Him in a greater measure than we ever imagined possible. Our tears are warm and welcomed because in them is realization that HE IS and He is with us. In this revelation we gladly let go, forsake all, leaving our own way behind, to grasp hold of His heart, His way, and most of all, His Love. We can then say, we have been truly broken.
