This is a word I received during the first week of January, 2008, as I sought the Lord to share His Heart. I pray it helps you to enter into His blessings in this Year of the Lord’s Favor.

“This is a year of blessing for you. I want to show you My love. I will teach you, I will guide you. I will free you from all that holds you back.

“Receive My peace. I will raise you up.

“Stay with Me, trust in Me. Follow My guidance. Find rest in Me. Love Me.

“Bring your sins to Me. I will wash you clean. Bring your burdens to Me. I will lift them off you. I can and I will.

“Because I want your pure heart. I want your surrendered heart.

“I ask for your obedience and I thank you for every time you have obeyed Me before.

“I can do great things with you as you let Me be your Father, as you let Me be your Husband. As you let Me be your guide. Learn to depend on Me.

“Do not take it for granted that you do, My child.

“Check the depths of your heart in My presence and you will know if you truly trust Me or not.

“You can have so much more. You can be so much more.

“This is the year that you will see the fruit of your obedience or disobedience right away. The fruit, regardless of whether it is one of obedience or disobedience, is a blessing.

“If it is a fruit of your obedience — flourish My child and know that I take great pleasure in your delight.

“If it is a fruit of your disobedience — repent My child and know that I come along side to strengthen you and help you overcome. As you turn from your disobedience you will receive from Me what the enemy is trying to steal.

“In this year there is only blessing for you My children.

“I give you good and perfect gifts and I discipline those I love. Understand the mystery of this. Ask me and I will show you.

“I Love you."
