The Idol Came down Four weeks ago, we started a teaching night about end times. On our way to the host house we ran into a strong typhoon. Billboards, big trees, and telephone wires were falling down. Many roads were blocked. Amazingly we made it to the house. Their power was out, and water was all over the floor. Despite all this, people still showed up and we did the teaching under candle light. Above all, this typhoon knocked down to the ground the idol this city, Cebu, worships. God is good! The Season to Draw Near God has been placing a word in my heart concerning the times and seasons the church is in before God. I will share it with you now. I sense the Lord is saying to His church today: “This is the season to come near to me. Draw near to me and I will draw near to you! The season has changed. Things are not the same. Business as usual cannot be.This is the season of clinging and cleaving unto me and me alone. The safest place to be is in nearness to me. Those who know me in the secret place, the prayer closet, will overcome and stand firm. Those who do not know me, in the place of nearness and purity, are in great danger of falling away from me. Cultivate! Cultivate! Cultivate my love within you! Cultivate my love within your hearts, your souls, your thoughts, your bodies, and in all that you are. Get ready, for I am coming soon! Get ready, for the days of great troubles are at hand! Cast off everything that contaminates your body and soul, and come closer to me. For I am the God who loves you!” Please take a moment to ask God what should be your response to this word.
