I HEAR THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SAYING:

“This will be a year like no other. I am pulling out all of the stops and I am releasing my glory from the beginning to the end says the Lord. I am stepping out of the walls of confinement and limitation and I will do a new thing in your midst.

“This shall be a year of transition and strategy for those who are willing to hear. This shall be a year of remembrance as well. Remember my goodness. Remember my promises. Remember what you have learned.

“Stay close to me in this year and be careful so that you do not wander off the straight path that I have laid out for you. Many have grown weary because of delay, but once again I tell you do not grow weary in well doing or in waiting. It is my providence at work.

“You are positioned right where I want you. You have been experiencing many divine delays in this past year, but now I tell you all things are now ready. My favor shall carry many of you to your places of destiny in the year ahead says the Lord.

“2007 was a year of birth pains but 2008 will be a year that you will behold the fullness of the promise. I have chosen this year as the year of new beginnings. The old shall become new, the stale shall become fresh, and the bitter shall become sweet.

“The moment you have all been waiting for is here. This shall be a time of spontaneous and perpetual breakthrough. Do not give up or back down. It is when you are at your weakest point that you shall see My strength.

“I am going to manifest My power and My grace upon you like never before. I am turning your oppression into opportunity and your problems shall serve as catalysts to your promise in this unusual season says the Spirit of the Lord.

“2008 will be a year where you will see the blessings of the Lord without measure. Not, only will I restore to you what the enemy has stolen but I will cause your storehouses to run over.” As it is written: “I will reveal riches in secret places and hand you treasures that have been hidden in darkness.” (Isaiah 45:3) Let it be known and declared that this is the acceptable year of the Lord.

“I have chosen this time and season before the foundations of the earth. I shall gather a harvest unto myself through my church in unprecedented numbers says God.

“Word curses that were spoken over many places and people are going to be broken as this year begins. Who can rightfully curse what I have blessed? Flowers shall bloom in desert places and desolate wastelands shall begin to flourish. I am also nullifying Christian curses and calling my people to guard their mouths in this season.

“Healing shall come to the body in many places this year. My church has been at Civil War and involved in a family feud for far too long. Today I am calling for a cease-fire. Stop arguing over the petty and temporary. I am circumcising the hearts of my people in this New Year. I am removing the blockages and offenses that have hindered my flow says the Lord.

“Do not fight the process but take comfort in the hands of the Great Physician. Do not remain isolated but become united. I am removing walls of division and I have begun to build a bridge that will cross over many denominational and traditional streams.

“I am preparing my church for the new beginning that is ahead. You have been walking through a season of trial and testing but now you shall see the beauty of my promises revealed.” Self-examination is crucial in this year. Examine yourselves, your hearts, and your motives. I desire pure hearts and clean hands. Live above the statuesque and do not settle for getting by.

“This will be a year of renewed commitment from my servants as well. I am requiring the “Fruits of the Spirit” to match and even exceed the “Gifts of the Spirit” in their lives.

“This coming year will be filled with many days of chaos. This will be a year filled with mourning and sadness for prominent figures and world leaders. Many markets and nations will be shaken by instability this will be magnified because of a spirit of fear that will torment many minds.

“Do not fear! I am in control and nothing is greater than Me, and nothing is out of My hands. For 2008 shall be a year where My Church will take its rightful place and position herself where she is called to be. Draw closer to Me, and listen to My heart and know that I am with you.

“This shall be a year of intervention as I am intervening in the affairs of the United States once again. I am putting the destiny of this nation into the prayer closets and upon the hands and lips of my church.

“You must declare, believe, and act in faith. This nation and nations are in the valley of decision. My church will determine their destiny. Be careful to say what I say and choose what I choose. Do not be deceived as the people of Israel were when they asked for a king and I gave them what they wanted.

“I have chosen this to be a year of intervention and surprises. I have hand picked a man to be the next leader of this country. He is a man of faith and prayer. He has been hidden in secret until now. History will record this man to be one of the greatest men of faith and prayer this nation has ever witnessed hold the presidency. 2008 is a significant year; each moment of each day has been designated as significant.

“I am releasing an anointing like that which was upon the sons of Issachar so you will know your times and seasons in the earth. Many great and mighty whispers of My Spirit shall be heard in this coming year, and I desire for My name to continually be lifted high says the Spirit of the living God.”

2008 will be year of Absolutes. God is looking for people who are absolutely abandoned to obedience. There will be absolute fulfillment in this year. You have remained faithful in lack and in want you have passed the test. It is now time to abound!

2008 will be a year of Blessing beyond measure. Be bold, be brave, and be blessed. This is the year to build. You will even build with the broken. This is a year to believe. Believe my word, believe my prophets, and believe that this is your time!

2008 will be a year of great chaos in the world but My church will rise up with courage and bring change to and set things in order. This is a year of covenant. Covenant is Key in this year. Remember the covenant God made with you. Remember the covenant you made with Him and each other.

2008 is a year of destiny, decision, desire, design, determination and delight.

2008 is a year of expectancy, examination, extraction, elimination, excitement and exploits!

2008 is a year of faith, faithfulness, favor, finances, freedom and fathers.

2008 is year of grace, giving, and going where we have never gone before.

2008 is a year of healing, honor, hope, and harvest.

2008 is a year of integrity, in-filling, intervention, and initiative.

2008 is a year of justice, joy, and jubilee for jubilee!

2008 is a year of keeping the promises of God close to our hearts and on our lips. A year of kairos moments.

2008 is a year of life, love, and laughter.

2008 is a year of mercy, marriages, maturing, miracles, and manifestation.

2008 is a year of no compromise and new beginnings.

2008 is a year of opportunity and optimism.

2008 is a year of promise, possessing, pursuing, peace, and persistence.

2008 is a year of quickening and quick responses to the command of the Lord and cries for help.

2008 is a year of release, renewal, revival, resurrection, revelation, and revolution.

2008 is a year of salvation, surrender, sacrifice, shifting, and the sounds of the kingdom.

2008 is a year of trust, transition, testing, triumph, and transformation.

2008 is a year that the unusual and uncommon shall become usual and common. It will be a year of unexpected open doors and unprecedented miracles.

2008 is a year that the kingdom of God will suffer great violence but the violent will take it by force. It will be a time of great victory and vigilance.

2008 will be a year of wonders, winning, and worship.

2008 will be a year of excellence and extremes for the body of Christ.

2008 will be a year to realize that the Lord is zealous about His people. Many will experience the zeal David had for the house of God once again.
