[Excerpt: This important word came to Judy Bauman before the US elections, in which the Lord shares his heart about our unfaithfulness to continue to pray for those in power, whether we like them or not. By being critical and accusing instead of praying many in the Body have joined forces with the Enemy!]

I awoke hearing:

“Four years ago many were praying for G.W. Bush to be president, as they did four years before that.  There was an intense battle for both presidential races—as there is for this one.  I answered this

prayer, but the church did not stay faithful to pray and intercede for him.  Instead many have turned their ears to hear and believe the report of the enemy instead of My report. Many have joined their voices of dissatisfaction to that of the Accuser of the brethren instead coming to the Throne Room of Grace and receiving directives from Me.  By entertaining the Accuser, My church has inadvertently joined his forces.

Few have held fast to the call to intercede for all in authority (not just the ones you agree with).  Have I not warned that you are to be in this world but not of this world?  Because of the disobedience of those called by My name to stand and pray for their leaders (whoever and whatever party they are) My church has now found herself on her face in this 11th hour plea.  All who have neglected to continue in prayer for the president needs to repent. Remember the ones who hear My words and do them are those who build their house on the Rock.

“If My church would pray and continue to pray after the election, this sort of outcry would not be necessary.  If My people would pray and not quarrel and argue and create worlds of resentment, which goes against My ways, then I would readily move My hand to help.

“Whoever gets elected, remain faithful to pray for them, as it is to your advantage to do so.  Children, remember that no matter who becomes your next president, I Am not unseated from being King of kings and Lord of lords.”

1 Timothy 2:1-8, “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time. 7And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles. 8I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”
