I hear the Lord say, “Surprise!” I see at the same time a vision of the Lord handing out extravagant gifts!!

The Lord says, “Surprise gifts are coming to you this year. Things you have not imagined. You have asked big things, but I will surprise you. I will do bigger things than that! I will bring a surprise that will let you know I am a God of miracles and I love you! Surprise! I am your Father and I desire to bless you and make you giggle! Tell me what you want, and I will bring it with more. Ask and see if I will not pour out on you a blessing you will not be able to contain. SURPRISE!!”

The Lord reminded me what I had prayed for during the dead of Winter. I had asked the Lord for beautiful flowers to bloom in my yard this Spring, as they didn’t do well last year.

To my surprise, growing along with my beautiful deep purple and bright yellow Iris’ were some new ones I DID NOT PLANT. These are white and lavender and a total different kind of Iris. I have had the Iris beds for 10 years and transplanted them from my old home to this one nearly 7 years ago. There were only yellow and purple. How can this be, with these new white and lavender ones?

Surprise!!

I asked for beautiful birds and in my heart asked for a Robin family, as I’ve never had them. Right by my back deck this year, a Robin has made her nest where we can view her sitting on the eggs! A Baltimore Oriole landed on my hummingbird feeder, and looked at himself in the reflection in the glass, in front of my window for 30 minutes. We had never seen one, except in a book. My daughter got video and pictures of him. I have red birds, blue birds, yellow birds, woodpeckers, etc. God heard my prayers and did even more than I expected!
