My child, test if things are of Me, not by Word or Deed but by Spirit.

It is possible for a person who is not of My Spirit to speak My word or to do a good deed. However, it is absolutely impossible for someone who is of My Spirit to speak out of alignment with My word or to do a deed that is not of Me. That is why I ask you to test the false prophet by spirit not word or deed (1 John 4:1-3). And you test the spirit of man by My Spirit because no one knows the spirit of man but the Spirit of God (Rom 8:16).

If you test based upon the word alone, even if it is in Scripture, you will be deceived. Satan knows and uses Scripture. How did Jesus know not to be deceived by the temptations in the desert? Satan used Scripture, did he not? Jesus knew because He tested by Spirit. Many of you decide that if it is a quote from the bible then the person must be my messenger. You do not test if things are of me by word; you test by Spirit because no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Similarly do not test if things are of me by action alone. Again that is not what I said to do. You will be deceived if you do this. When Mary poured perfume on Jesus’ feet and He allowed it, but Judas said that it was a waste of expensive perfume, that it could have been sold instead and the money given to the poor. Judas said and did something that sounded and looked noble, yet Jesus knew that Judas did not care at all about the poor. Jesus tested by Spirit both Mary’s act as well as Judas’ reaction and drew the right conclusions.

When My Son, beaten, bruised and scorned walked up the mount carrying the cross, those who tested by sight saw a condemned man, a sinner, someone who had gone against the religious leaders, someone who had blasphemed God, whose life had gone from bad to worse, who was being punished for his wrongdoing … but what was actually going on? The very ones who were calling My Son a sinner, were the sinners. They did an abominable act because on the outside they looked right. Man does not see what God sees, and if you fear man and look for man’s approval you can fool yourself into believing that you will get away with it from Me as well. The blood stays on your hands when you hide — it does not disappear because you have deceived man and yourself. One of the criminals next to Jesus reacted the same way as the crowds and the Pharisees and hurled insults on Jesus but the other criminal knew and he said, “We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” How did this criminal know? Testing by Spirit is the difference between darkness and light.

There are many who look at the poor, the oppressed and the suffering and see a condemned man or woman — a sinner in need of correction and discipline. You forget that I said that I am found in such as these. When you test by word and action, you test by man’s ways and you have created a system that requires and trains you to test in such a manner. You need to repent, my child. Turn away from man’s ways and ask of me; I will equip you to test by My Spirit. You are My sheep. My sheep know My voice. You hear My voice in and by My Spirit. The hour to live by Spirit alone has come upon you. I ask you to repent now. I will wipe all sin from you in an instant. I will open your eyes and I will strengthen you and enable you to test by My Spirit. You have my word, now receive my Spirit. The hour is late my child. Do not procrastinate; do not take lightly what I am saying. I have already told you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

These are the days when things are at work to deceive even the elect, if that were possible. How can you tell if someone is in the world or of the world. The line seems so thin, does it not? How can you tell the difference between the psychic and the prophet? The fortune teller and the Seer? How can you tell between the sign and miracle of the false prophet and that of the true prophet? How can you tell the difference between the religious fanatic who says his god is the only way and is willing to die for his god ... and a follower of Christ who is willing to take up his cross to the point of death. For every true Kingdom reality (the reality that I require you to walk in) there is a clever and deceiving counterfeit. How can you tell the difference? By reading about it? By studying about it? By looking at the words spoken, the lyrics sung, the actions taken? No — you can only survive what is coming upon you if you know My voice and are in fellowship with Me and so test by My Spirit. This is what My elect will do.

I am pouring out my Spirit upon all flesh. Repent, lay aside your false doctrines and man made rules and receive ME. Do not be deceived My child, and do not think that you are hidden from my sight. I do not desire that you would perish. Repent my child, receive My Spirit and you will hear My voice in you and through the vessels I have chosen; your spirit will be one with theirs, and you will dwell in unity and follow Me.

This is a time of light, of great signs and wonders. I am calling you forth to walk in My glory. Come to me My child and walk by My Spirit in times of refreshing, rest, blessing and glory.
