Three times in one day, I saw a very severe earthquake strike in California. I saw several areas that were totally devastated. I saw entire rows of tall city buildings crumbling straight down to the ground below as the ground beneath the buildings was violently shaking.

August 6, 2008 Vision of the fault line.

The Lord took me down 1000 feet below the California state and showed me the fault lines and the mantle areas. There were many breaks and openings that had magma coming up through them towards the surface. In one particular break there was a huge angel who was standing in and on the break in the mantle. He was very fierce, and his name was, “The Goodness and The Severity of God.” I looked at him and his feet were glowing as he stood in the breech there in the magma that was flowing in the break. He said that this break was caused by the fault finding of the people of God. The fault finding that was so rampant amongst the Body of Christ had weakened the fault lines in the foundation and it had now brought cracks in the mantle and that destabilization was now happening in a greater degree. He said that God was dealing severely with us and that either we would receive the Goodness of the Lord or the Severity of the Lord, depending upon our response to Him in this season. He said that the Lord wanted to bring healing to the fractures and the faults and instead to bring forth the Covenant of Salt. He said it could be found within Job 40-42.

Read all three chapters to get the whole context……

Romans 11:21-2221For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Romans 9:18-2318So then He has mercy on whomever He wills (chooses) and He hardens (makes stubborn and unyielding the heart of) whomever He wills. 19You will say to me, Why then does He still find fault and blame us [for sinning]? For who can resist and withstand His will? 20But who are you, a mere man, to criticize and contradict and answer back to God? Will what is formed say to him that formed it, Why have you made me thus? 21Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same mass (lump) one vessel for beauty and distinction and honorable use, and another for menial or ignoble and dishonorable use? 22What if God, although fully intending to show [the awfulness of] His wrath and to make known His power and authority, has tolerated with much patience the vessels (objects) of [His] anger which are ripe for destruction? 23And [what if] He thus purposes to make known and show the wealth of His glory in [dealing with] the vessels (objects) of His mercy which He has prepared beforehand for glory.

Luke 18:9-149He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves and were confident that they were righteous [that they were upright and in right standing with God] and scorned and made nothing of all the rest of men: 10Two men went up into the temple [enclosure] to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee took his stand ostentatiously and began to pray thus before and with himself: God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of men—extortioners (robbers), swindlers [unrighteous in heart and life], adulterers—or even like this tax collector here. 12I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I gain. 13But the tax collector, [merely] standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but kept striking his breast, saying, O God, be favorable (be gracious, be merciful) to me, the especially wicked sinner that I am! 14I tell you, this man went down to his home justified (forgiven and made upright and in right standing with God), rather than the other man; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.

1 Corinthians 1:26-3026For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth. 27[No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame. 28And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are, 29So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God. 30But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

August 8, 2008 Dream of Voice of the Lord.

In my dream, the Lord spoke audibly over and over, repeating the phrase, “I have seen their heart’s sincerity, so I will lessen by 3, the quake’s severity.” The Lord showed me that the quake coming to the California area would not be altered as it was a set event, but that the Lord would now lessen it by 3. When I shared this in the California meeting, a local USGS scientist came up to me at the end, and said that if it was lessened by three, it would agree with [me having been] with the angel 1000 feet below, as a factor of 3 is equal to 1000 in [earthquake] strength. So even though we don’t understand it, God is merciful in doing it. So, whatever degree it was supposed to be in the future, God has lessened it by 3, to save, in His Mercy.

Vision given while at the Healing Rooms on August 14, 2008

In the vision, I saw a vast array of demonic forces that were being assembled and being openly arrayed in a large open area. On the opposite side, I saw the people of God, and they were also all being gathered and they were standing in a large group. I wondered at the scene, if it was a scene of preparation for war, or if it was a scene of imminent destruction?

As I was watching, the scene shifted before me. My initial view was one of looking down on the scene like a spectator. But as it began to shift, I saw that what I perceived in the positioning of the two groups of hosts was not the only thing present. The Lord then showed me, as He turned the scene, that there was an area of division in the dimensions that is not seen by the natural eye. It is a space, for lack of a better word, a dimension, that stretched out in between the two hosts, and it was in the Spirit. I saw that it was about 6-8 feet deep and it was as long as the hosts were that were assembled. It ran parallel to the two groups in between them. The Lord then told me that I was to go into that space that was in between the two groups, and that I was to pray and to bring healing and restoration to the situation. I looked down and I saw that I was dressed in robes and I had sandals on. I also had an instrument in my hand. It was a small golden plate that was suspended upon golden chains; it looked like a scale of sorts, but this instrument had a live fiery coal on the plate. It was burning and smoking as it flared. I knew I had to run down between the two groups and wave the coal on the plate between them, to see the coming war/judgments averted and for the Lord to release life and also for the healing to come to the people of God.

I then ran down to where the two groups were assembled and looked down between them, and the unseen space between them was emanating with light and with the power of the Presence of God. So, I began to go forwards and I entered into that space between them with the instrument in my hand and the live coal. As I entered into the space, I felt the most overwhelming Holiness of God and the Fear of the Lord as I knew that He looked right through me as I ran. I knew that I was passing through the Father’s gaze, and that my obedience and the offering was very important to our people and to our future destiny.

I began to plead with God for the people and for His Mercy and for His Grace. I wept as I ran, and I felt as if I was being burned alive with the Fire of His Jealousy. I knew that the Father was Jealous over His People and He was angry with their current state of sin, rebellion, and with their fallen relationship with Him. But I also knew that He would not totally destroy them, but that He would through this event, reveal Himself to them, so that they could come to know Him deeper. I also felt His anger over the enemy’s stronghold that was over the people, and that the Father was now bringing them liberty and the freedom is being given only to those who want to be free. He was going to violently free them so that they would know that He is their God, and that He loves them. He also was going to release His Spirit of the Fear of the Lord, so that they would truly serve Him and also to bring them into greater maturity. As I ran, I felt all of the layers of my skin being removed from me by the Fire of His Jealousy as it purged me, and I felt like I was suddenly free. It felt like the outer layer of my skin was what was holding me in, and after it burned away, I felt such liberty from the purging, that I rejoiced in the midst of the Fear of His Presence! I kept running till I ran the full length of the span of the space between the two forces. I heard a great roar as if a great wind had suddenly come up behind me, and I was afraid to look back, so I kept going till I emerged from the space between them. I then was out of the vision.

As I have pondered the full meaning of all of the visions, I have received additional scriptures to help interpret the fuller meaning, so that we can fully walk this out…

Ezekiel 13:5 You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel that it might stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.

Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.

Psalms 106:7-31 7Our fathers in Egypt understood not nor appreciated Your miracles; they did not [earnestly] remember the multitude of Your mercies nor imprint Your loving-kindness [on their hearts], but they were rebellious and provoked the Lord at the sea, even at the Red Sea. 8Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake [to prove the righteousness of the divine character], that He might make His mighty power known. 9He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; so He led them through the depths as through a pastureland. 10And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the [Egyptian] enemy. 11And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. 12Then [Israel] believed His words [trusting in, relying on them]; they sang His praise. 13But they hastily forgot His works; they did not [earnestly] wait for His plans [to develop] regarding them, 14But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted and tried to restrain God [with their insistent desires] in the desert. 15And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their souls and [thinned their numbers by] disease and death. 16They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron [the high priest], the holy one of the Lord. 17Therefore the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and closed over the company of Abiram. 18And a fire broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. 19They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a molten image. 20Thus they exchanged Him Who was their Glory for the image of an ox that eats grass [they traded their Honor for the image of a calf]! 21They forgot God their Savior, Who had done such great things in Egypt, 22wonders and miracles in the land of Ham, dreadful and awesome things at the Red Sea. 23Therefore He said He would destroy them. [And He would have done so] had not Moses, His chosen one, stepped into the breach before Him to turn away His threatening wrath. 24Then they spurned and despised the pleasant and desirable land [Canaan]; they believed not His word [neither trusting in, relying on, nor holding to it]; 25But they murmured in their tents and hearkened not to the voice of the Lord. 26Therefore He lifted up His hand [as if taking an oath] against them, that He would cause them to fall in the wilderness, 27Cast out their descendants among the nations, and scatter them in the lands [of the earth]. 28They joined themselves also to the [idol] Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices [offered] to the lifeless [gods]. 29Thus they provoked the Lord to anger with their practices, and a plague broke out among them. 30Then stood up Phinehas [the priest] and executed judgment, and so the plague was stayed. 31And that was credited to him for righteousness (right doing and right standing with God) to all generations forever.

Numbers 25:10-13 10And the Lord said to Moses, 11Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the Israelites, in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the Israelites in My jealousy. 12Therefore say, Behold, I give to Phinehas the priest My covenant of peace. 13And he shall have it, and his descendants after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the Israelites.

Numbers 16:1-11, 19-50 1Now Korah son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men, 2And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the Israelites, 250 princes or leaders of the congregation called to the assembly, men well known and of distinction. 3And they gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, [Enough of you!] You take too much upon yourselves, seeing that all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you lift yourselves up above the assembly of the Lord? 4And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face. 5And he said to Korah and all his company, In the morning the Lord will show who are His and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him; him whom He has chosen will He cause to come near to Him. 6Do this: Take censers, Korah and all your company, 7And put fire in them and put incense upon them before the Lord tomorrow; and the man whom the Lord chooses shall be holy. You take too much upon yourselves, you sons of Levi. 8And Moses said to Korah, Hear, I pray you, you sons of Levi: 9Does it seem but a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord and to stand before the congregation to minister to them, 10And that He has brought you near to Him, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you? Would you seek the priesthood also? 11Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord. And Aaron, what is he that you murmur against him?

* * *

19Then Korah assembled all the congregation against Moses and Aaron before the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation. 20And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 21Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. 22And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin and will You be angry with all the congregation? 23And the Lord said to Moses, 24Say to the congregation, Get away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. 25Then Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him. 26And he said to the congregation, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins. 27So they got away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. And Dathan and Abiram came out and stood in the door of their tents with their wives, and their sons, and their little ones. 28And Moses said, By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I do not act of my own accord: 29If these men die the common death of all men or if [only] what happens to everyone happens to them, then the Lord has not sent me. 30But if the Lord causes a new thing [to happen], and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up, with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol (the place of the dead), then you shall understand that these men have provoked (spurned, despised) the Lord! 31As soon as he stopped speaking, the ground under the offenders split apart 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households and [Korah and] all [his] men and all their possessions. 33They and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol (the place of the dead); and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly. 34And all Israel who were round about them fled at their cry, for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. 35And fire came forth from the Lord and devoured the 250 men who offered the incense. 36And the Lord said to Moses, 37Speak to Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning and scatter the fire at a distance. For the censers are hallowed—38The censers of these men who have sinned against themselves and at the cost of their own lives. Let the censers be made into hammered plates for a covering of the altar [of burnt offering], for they were used in offering before the Lord and therefore they are sacred. They shall be a sign [of warning] to the Israelites. 39Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers with which the Levites who were burned had offered incense, and they were hammered into broad sheets for a covering of the [brazen] altar [of burnt offering], 40To be a memorial [a warning forever] to the Israelites, so that no outsider, that is, no one not of the descendants of Aaron, should come near to offer incense before the Lord, lest he become as Korah and as his company, as the Lord said to Eleazar through Moses. 41But on the morrow all the congregation of the Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying, You have killed the people of the Lord. 42When the congregation was gathered against Moses and Aaron, they looked at the Tent of Meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it and they saw the Lord’s glory. 43And Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting. 44And the Lord said to Moses, 45Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And Moses and Aaron fell on their faces. 46And Moses said to Aaron, Take a censer and put fire in it from off the altar and lay incense on it, and carry it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them. For there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague has begun! 47So Aaron took the burning censer as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and behold, the plague was begun among the people; and he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. 48And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stayed. 49Now those who died in the plague were 14,700, besides those who died in the matter of Korah. 50And Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the Tent of Meeting, since the plague was stayed.

2 Corinthians 2:15-1715 For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing: 16 To the latter it is an aroma [wafted] from death to death [a fatal odor, the smell of doom]; to the former it is an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is qualified (fit and sufficient) for these things? [Who is able for such a ministry? We?] 17 For we are not, like so many, [like hucksters making a trade of] peddling God’s Word [shortchanging and adulterating the divine message]; but like [men] of sincerity and the purest motive, as [commissioned and sent] by God, we speak [His message] in Christ (the Messiah), in the [very] sight and presence of God.

James 4:12 One only is the Lawgiver and Judge Who is able to save and to destroy [the One Who has the absolute power of life and death]. [But you] who are you that [you presume to] pass judgment on your neighbor?

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.

1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother [believer] committing a sin that does not [lead to] death (the extinguishing of life), he will pray and [God] will give him life [yes, He will grant life to all those whose sin is not one leading to death]. There is a sin [that leads] to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.

There is a great onslaught of the enemy about to be released upon the Body of Christ that we have opened the door to, with all of our criticizing, faultfinding, murmuring, complaining, rebellion, and hard heartedness. We have empowered the enemy to be loosed to destroy much of the Body through our sin, and we need to heal the breech and the natural and spiritual fault lines now. Our foundation in the natural, and in the spiritual, is compromised and will indeed fall shortly with great losses, through the severe things that are about to be released. God desires mercy and not death, but it is in our power to choose which way the battle will go.
